Every December, the Sun Prairie Optimist Club Pancake Breakfast fills the Colonial Club with laughter, the smell of syrup and coffee, and the warmth of connection.
It’s one of Sun Prairie’s favorite holiday traditions — a time for families, friends, and neighbors to enjoy a hearty breakfast while supporting local youth programs.

Everyone! Whether you’re a longtime Sun Prairie resident or new to town, you’re welcome to join in the fun.
Families, students, community leaders, and guests from across the area attend each year to support youth programs through this joyful event.
Tickets will be available at the door or from club members in advance.
Why It Matters
All proceeds from the Pancake Breakfast go directly toward youth programs and scholarships in Sun Prairie, including:
- Student of the Month awards
- Essay & Oratorical Contests
- Tri-Star Basketball
- Prairie Phoenix Academy mentoring
- Seven scholarships for graduating seniors
- Support for community partners like Sunshine Place, Boys & Girls Club, and the YMCA
Every pancake flipped helps lift up a young person in our community.
How You Can Help
1. Become a Sponsor
Local businesses can purchase ad space on our custom placemat advertisements displayed at every table. It’s a great way to show your community pride while supporting youth programs.
Sponsorship Levels:
- $60 – 1 space & 2 breakfast tickets (Ad Size 2¼” x ½”)
- $85 – 2 spaces & 4 tickets (Ad Size 2¼” x 1¼”)
- $110 – 3 spaces & 6 tickets (Ad Size 2¼” x 1¾”)
- $135 – 4 spaces & 8 tickets (Ad Size 2¼” x 2½”)
Wall Poster Options:
- $100 – Single poster, 5 tickets + placemat ad
- $150 – Two posters, 6 tickets + double-space ad
