Our community youth now have an excellent opportunity to participate in the Optimist JOOI Club - and can even use this area of our web site to showcase their talents and artistic freedoms. In other communities, JOOI members work together to have fun, identify and accomplish community projects, and more. JOOI is about our youth working together to participate in a common cause, whether it's learning to build the pages of this web site, or helping prepare the Youth Center, the ideas and opportunities are unlimited!
Internationally, the Optimist organization has created a JOOI organization charter - specifically for teenagers in middle school, high school, and college to team up and participate as a Junior Optimist club. JOOI members in nearby areas have traveled to various cities to help the victims of disaster - and regularly participate in many related causes. Here's an opportunity for the youth of Stoughton take up our challenge and see the power that comes from students working together for a common cause. Come on Community - here's your chance! |
